About Us
Hello my friends!
My name is Aaron. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I joined the Air Force at a young age and served twelve years in various locations around the world. Eight of my twelve years I spent as a K9 handler where my passion for dog training was cultivated. My time as a K9 handler allowed opportunities to serve on deployments, provide security for the Secretary of State, while implementing detection and patrol capabilities. I am so grateful for the extensive training and experiences the Military gave me. The Military provided the knowledge and confidence to pursue dog training for household pets.
In 2020 I transitioned from the Military to the civilian world and settled in Kansas City. I knew my next chapter would be using my passion for dogs to help families connect with their pets through obedience. This is what led me to open Camp Lucky. Since then I have been helping my Lucky clients achieve goals with their fur babies that most can only dream of.

Two Week Board and Train
This is Camp Lucky’s most popular service. Your dog lives in-house with a trainer 24/7! They don't stay in a facility! In just two weeks we teach your dog how to be obedient in any environment on and off leash. Although this training program is vigorous it is exactly what every dog needs. OBEDIENCE!
Behavioral Modification
Does your dog show aggression or have reactive tendencies? Don’t worry! With the right training, we can give you tools to manage these behaviors and put you back in control.

This was the best money spent and I absolutely trust the trainers to take the best care of dogs, Aaron has been amazing to work with, my dog LOVES him and you can tell he takes time to make a bond with them and it’s more than just training. Aaron is responsive, fun, and you can tell enjoys being with the dogs just as much as they enjoy being with him.

Aaron’s attention to detail and clear communication really set us up for success. He took the time to get to know us and our needs, and the needs of each individual dog, and applied that to both training programs. He also worked with us at home to make sure we had a smooth transition from training to home and beyond. He has continued to be available to us months later when we had questions. We look forward to spending time on public patios with our well-behaved dogs this summer thanks to Camp Lucky!
I cannot say enough about this wonderful training program. Miraculous has come to mind many times since my pups returned home. Walking them is a dream and so much more enjoyable. We can open our front door without worrying one will run down the street. And, the barking is now a minimum when the evil UPS truck drives by! My dogs are well behaved and I am in control of them. Aaron loves your pups like they are his own and he goes above and beyond helping you with them even after the training is over. If you want dogs that listen, follow your commands, and stop when you want them to do so, this is the program for you. Your dogs will be well taken care of and trained well.
I could not recommend Camp Lucky enough! Jacob trained our girl Charli and kept us informed throughout the entire process. We enjoyed watching her learn each day with her report cards, which are now helping us continue working with her at home. We were nervous to begin this process but the team always answered any questions which reassured us that we picked the right team! Jacob treated Charli just like we would have, letting her continue to be a dog during her time with him. We love the results and could not be happier, Charli is happier as well! 💖💖

Aaron is an amazing trainer! He is so compassionate and caring. He taught Sophie so much in the two weeks he worked with her. The daily report containing great pictures and videos documenting her progress was so appreciated! We have seen our loving yet stubborn mini golden doodle respond so well to heeling, placing and listening like never before. It is so much fun to go on walks with Sophie with her new found skills!
